What
cultural formats do not yet exist?

A cultural format is more than a programme or an event. It is a set of conditions that shapes how people arrive, participate, meet one another and choose to return.

New cultural formats do not begin with novelty alone. They emerge when an existing way of gathering no longer reflects how people want to live, listen or connect.

My interest lies in the space between an event and an institution: recurring forms that remain open, responsive and capable of becoming part of people’s lives.

01 What I have observed
What I have observed

A format becomes cultural when people begin to carry it.

Repetition alone does not create belonging. The time, place, musical language, hospitality and way people are welcomed must begin to form a recognisable shared world.

The strongest formats are structured enough to be trusted and open enough to be shaped by the people inside them.
